How do you find cards that aren't publicly listed?
Relationships. Over years in the hobby we've built a private network of dealers, consignors, and collectors. Most high-end cards change hands quietly within it, long before they'd ever hit a public listing — and often when the owner wasn't actively selling.
Do you take possession of the card or my money?
No. You pay the seller directly for the card, and we invoice our fee separately. We take no title, custody, or possession at any point, and we warrant nothing about the card itself — authentication and grading speak for it.
How is your fee calculated?
Our fee is 8% of the final purchase price, with a $1,000 minimum. There's nothing upfront and no retainer — the fee only applies to a card you approve and close. Advisory members are sourced at a reduced rate.
What if you can't find the card?
You owe nothing. There's no cost to start and no retainer — our fee only applies to a card you approve and actually close.
Can I set a maximum price?
Always. You approve a ceiling before we negotiate, and we never move past it. You approve every card and every number before anything closes.
How do you handle authentication and grading?
We vet condition, authenticity, and grading before presenting anything, and we factor population and comps into the recommendation. Where it matters, we'll advise on grading strategy — but the card is always authenticated by the third-party graders, not us.
Do you work with dealers or private sellers?
Both. The right copy comes from wherever it lives — an established dealer, a private collector, a consignor. We go to the source that has the card you want at the number that works.
Is this confidential?
Entirely. No public bidding, no paddle, no exposure. Who you are and what you're acquiring stays between us.
